Tonya Comer was raised in the projects of Pittsburgh and climbed up the success ladder from a career in broadcast journalism to work in corporate America, launch an award-winning interior design company, and marry her Prince Charming. But this seemingly perfect life would shatter around her and expose what was under her well-constructed mask.
It took hitting rock bottom for Tonya to find her truth. She stood face-to-face with her insecurities and confronted the shame, self-doubt, and self-sabotaging beliefs that had plagued her throughout her life. After years of dedicated work in self-discovery, Tonya emerged with a newfound confidence—awakened to her true purpose and passionately empowered to guide and inspire other women by teaching her power tools, the lessons she learned through her personal experiences, trial and error, and many ups and downs. On her quest to start a Global Love Revolution, Tonya is actively helping women
around the globe to reclaim their power and live their truth.
Tonya Comer is the principal of the design firm Tonya Comer Interiors and has been recognized as one of the Top 20 African American Interior Designers in the United States. “Bringing Design to Life” is Tonya’s message and mission for both her career as an interior designer and her work as a LIFEdesign coach. Her book In High Heels on a Ladder: The 7 Power Tools for Designing Your Life was released in July of 2023.
